Experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to work alongside web and the application team to support transition and operation of IT client web sites / applications in Amazon Cloud.
●– 7 years’ Experience with Linux, Virtual Machines
Would be a plus:
●Experience with Apache, NGINX (Litespeed is a plus)
●Some experience with PHP, ideally Laravel (Python and are a big plus)
●Experience with scripting (bash)
●years' experience with SQL
●Experience with DevOps practices and tools (. Jenkins, Splunk, Nagios, GitHub)
Daily activities:
●Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for a high performance 500k+ users social media like appliction
●Implementing, optimizing and controlling the flow of data to and from AWS
●Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements
●Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practices
●Estimating AWS usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
